How we're best serving our patients at this time.
We hope this post finds you well, and that you've had some success in finding ways to create new healthy mental and physical habits during this incredibly confusing time. Given how much everything keeps changing in our world, and with how the state guidelines have evolved each week, we wanted to update you with what we at Mobility-Doc are doing at this time. We're committed to finding a way to serve all of our patients. Even if you're quarantined at home, we have a plan for you. Reach out to us if you need help setting any of the following options up for yourself, or if you have any questions at all. We're working on updating our website to make it easier for everyone to navigate towards what they need faster. Heres a list of our current status and offerings. This email is coming to you via our secure patient only portal system. I apologize if you receive another email with I will send out to the general public.
We're still open. Physical therapy and chiropractic is part of Ambulatory Health Services. The verbiage of life sustaining vs non life sustaining has been frustrating for all business owners, however the comprehensive list provided by our local government has been more helpful. You can schedule the same way you always have with us.
We ask that, if possible, you consider Telehealth services with us. We've already set some patients up with this. For those of you who don't feel comfortable coming in for a face-to-face session, or if you're looking for us to create a custom PT plan for you to do in the comfort of your own home, a Telehealth session would be perfect. It's actually quite amazing. We will set up an invitation to us via ZOOM, and then we can either video chat, or just chat via audio. For some of you who are already in-network with us - make sure you check with us first - it can be billed to your insurance. Leaving you only with your standard co-pay or co-insurance. It is worth noting that everyone can take advantage of this if they want to pay with an HSA card, or just pay privately. This is actually not a new service from us, just a service that all of a sudden became much more important.
We will continue to keep the number of people in our room to be less than 10 at a time. Please don't come with a small army. If you need to bring your family with you we ask that you just let us know so that we can plan accordingly. We have a lot of free space now, and a lot of options to help us accommodate everyone.
Are you looking for a strength and mobility training plan for wellness purposes? You can definitely stay home for that, and you're a perfect candidate for our telemedicine services. That would be considered private pay, and you could use an HSA card, but insurance wouldn't cover that even if you came into our office.
Our standard practices of sterilizing the environment in our office will not change. We have plenty of wipes and cleaning supplies to keep our small practice clean. Even after all of this ends, our attention to cleaning will not change.
